2024/2025 After School Program*
Thanks to our amazing new partnership with the City of Creswell we will continue holding our program in our new Clubhouse facility in the Cobalt Activity Center which is 4,700 square feet of fun! We have two classrooms, a playground and a gym/games room. Our local organization was created specifically for the community of Creswell. We have been serving children in here for 8 years, and as our own nonprofit for 14 years. As always, we will be offering a wide variety of enrichment clubs along with our daily Brain Zone Club so children can keep academic skills sharp and receive tutoring from University of Oregon program leaders. Please inquire about our available scholarships if needed. Sign up now so you don’t miss out! We will fill up fast.
CLUBHOUSE IS TAKING OVER THE COBALT BUILDING

CLUBHOUSE IS TAKING OVER THE COBALT BUILDING
THANKS TO THE CITY OF CRESWELL!
It is with great pleasure and excitement I get to fill you in on some amazing news! Clubhouse and the City of Creswell are officially partnering. I met with Michelle Amberg, Creswell City Manager and we toured the Cobalt Activity Center. She has guaranteed Clubhouse exclusive rights to two classrooms and an open gym type room (just short of regulation basketball court size). The big room has a dance floor, with bars, covering approx. 1/3 of the space and the other 2/3 has really nice mats used for Karate or Gymnastics. We can use this space as our gym. Wow!
Clubhouse is in a unique position of being able to help children thrive and gain skills needed to be successful in school both academically and socially. I am extremely positive about the future of Clubhouse and our ability to serve more children with even better programs in a fabulous new facility!

CLUBHOUSE CELEBRATED
IT'S 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN 2020!
The focus of Clubhouse is to provide children, families and the Creswell community with a school age youth development program in order to allow young people to explore their interests, find their passions and be fully supported educationally. Clubhouse believes high-quality youth development experiences provide better outcomes for children. Each year Clubhouse serves over 100 children with after school and summer camp programs.
Clubhouse has an organizational history that is grounded in the community. The program was originally created in partnership with the Creswell School District, United Way of Lane County and the University of Oregon. The program was designed through an evaluation of needs for youth services in this community utilizing focus groups, interviews and surveys of students, community members, parents and school faculty. Clubhouse began as a school program in 2005 serving 12 children, two afternoons per week. As the program grew it became apparent it needed to become an independent nonprofit organization to ensure adequate funding sources were available. In September of 2009 Creswell Clubhouse was granted 501c3 nonprofit status.

Our Program
Creswell Clubhouse is a local nonprofit Youth Development Program which provides youth services and programs in Creswell. This program belongs to the children we serve, our families and the community of Creswell. At Clubhouse we put children first. We keep costs low while providing the highest quality Youth Development Program. Children at Clubhouse are given the opportunity to fill their out of school time with positive, educational, and rewarding programs and friendships. We provide the children in the community of Creswell the opportunity to participate in classes, clubs and activities not otherwise available and provide group and individual tutoring and homework assistance. Our focus is education by supplementing the school day with enriching and engaging programs.
Our Mission
Creswell Clubhouse is designed to provide young people with a safe and healthy place to practice reading skills, receive help with homework, utilize computer resources and participate in educationally enriching activities after school. We strive to build stronger physical, intellectual and emotional support systems for students while fostering responsible choice making.
Program Model
Young people in Creswell are offered a Youth Development Program which includes homework help, individual tutoring, reading time, social skills and leadership development, service learning opportunities, fine arts, recreation, performance arts, science, conflict resolution, leadership skills development and a wide variety of educationally enriching activities. Children have the opportunity to take the lead in service learning projects and planning and organization of club special activities. Research states young people involved in service learning projects gain many skills and have strengthened self-esteem and belief in their ability to complete meaningful projects for their community. Our “Brain Zone” Homework Club provides a structured time to receive homework assistance from Clubhouse University of Oregon Program Leaders and Tutors, volunteers and peers. Youth celebrate their hard work during the Brain Zone Homework Club through earning “Clubhouse Bucks” which are used for purchasing prizes at our Clubhouse “store”. Reading takes place 20 minutes per day. We also offer many opportunities for children to participate in large motor activities which instill a healthy, active lifestyle that includes exercise and physical recreation.
Everyone attends at least one Brain Zone session per day and two educationally enriching clubs of their choice. Each child will be given the opportunity to choose which educational enrichment clubs they wish to sign up for. Educational enrichment clubs are designed to offer children opportunities to explore their interests and passions while improving their self esteem and responsible choice making.
Enrichment Clubs
We attempt to offer a wide variety of enrichment clubs. Below is a general list of clubs which may be offered throughout the year. We sign up for new clubs four times per year.
